Dr. Aina is an Assistant Professor of Physics and Biophysics at California State University Dominguez Hills. He received his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of British Columbia. His research focuses on computational protein design of immunogens for neurodegenerative diseases. Previously, he was a College Professor at Okanagan College and worked as an Associate Scientist at the biotech company ProMIS Neurosciences. He is interested in computational science to tackle problems at the intersection of physics, chemistry, and biology for applications in biomedicine and biotechnology.
