Welcome!

We are advancing research at the intersection of physics, chemistry, and biology, harnessing the power of mathematical and computational tools to address challenging questions in biophysics and protein design for applications in biomedicine and biotechnology. Join us in this exciting frontier of computational science and be a part of revolutionizing the future of healthcare.

Research

Biochemistry and Biophysics – We study the chemical and physical principles that govern biomolecular structure and interactions, and use and develop computational and machine learning methods to understand the dynamics of proteins.

Protein Design and Drug Discovery – We utilize AI and biophysical understanding to design and engineer novel proteins with entirely new structural and functional properties, and apply those techniques to immunogen and antibody design for practical problems in drug discovery for neurodegenerative diseases.

Scientific Software Development – We build and release open-source software that makes computational science faster, more reproducible, and easier to get right, so that methods developed here are usable by the wider research community.

We believe in the transformative power of computational science to revolutionize the way we study biological systems such as proteins. Our research doesn’t just stay in the lab—it has the potential to create real-world solutions like the development of new therapeutic proteins that can have positive impact on people’s lives.
